I'm not sure if you care, but you said you are a baseball "statitician". The correct spelling is statistician.

Just thought I'd mention that, I guess I have an eye for typos.

Good luck with your marathon quest, I'm sure you'll do great.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-83387545190050505382008-02-27T20:56:00.000-06:002008-02-27T20:56:00.000-06:00You're AMAZING, Sara! And, to do the ice bath on top of it! You are a better man than I, Ms. Holtsman! Wow, lots of exclamations in this comment! I think that's because you put a big ole exclamation in your journey to your marathon in completing that 20 miler Sara!

Great job, you should be so very proud of yourself! ;-)Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04034531091253691652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-18859340256848425022008-02-26T14:52:00.000-06:002008-02-26T14:52:00.000-06:00Wow - you have guts! 20 cold miles while feeling ...Wow - you have guts! 20 cold miles while feeling sick - I think you are ready for the full 26.2 (hopefully when you are healthier...)

I'm training for my first marathon (May 4) and my long run so far is 13 miles. So far, so good...but 18 or 20 miles is a lot different than 13.

Keep it up! I hope I can HTFU like you did when the time comes...Mike Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09894036682226358146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-6355822816272148912008-02-25T18:49:00.000-06:002008-02-25T18:49:00.000-06:00Girl, you are such an inspiration to me! I will be at the same point in my training in the later weeks of Summer...I'm not sure what sounds worse--running in the bitter cold or the heat (maybe the heat, since I tend to wilt once it gets above 75, at least while running).

You have HTFUd and run astounding mileage under conditions that would have most people dreading a 5 miler. You are my hero...I mean that!

:)

kZoomyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08458929767561710888noreply@blogger.com
