The key is completing your training healthy and uninjured and then executing a smart race on marathon day.

Keep up the great work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-65433777869788353522008-02-13T14:49:00.000-06:002008-02-13T14:49:00.000-06:00Hey Sara:I'm a Chicagoan with family roots in St L...Hey Sara:

I'm a Chicagoan with family roots in St Louis--I totally hear you on the crappy weekend weather! Sorry the temps and the wind chill didn't cooperate with your plans, but it sounds like you had a good time anyway. STL and Chicago are my two favorite cities in the world, and I'm glad you got to experience a taste of my town!

JimJimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963095264663210450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8479044467467363635.post-78309830770309738172008-02-12T15:48:00.000-06:002008-02-12T15:48:00.000-06:00Hey, Sara! Thanks for the note on my blog. Alway...Hey, Sara! Thanks for the note on my blog. Always great to hear from you! You're doing so awesome on your runs girl. You actually did 16 miles on a treadmill?!? You deserve like a special medal for that or something. I think I would lose my ever-lovin' mind running that long on a tm. Way to go! Oh, and the bipolar marathon feelings must not be unusual because I have them all the time! One day I'm on top of the world and think I could run the 26.2 no problem, the next I'm nervous as all get out and doubting myself and on the verge of tears thinking about it. :-)

Awesome weekend. Glad you were able to treat yourselves and had a fun and relaxing weekend! I'm slightly jealous. I LOVE Chicago. You and Marion really seem to have hooked a couple of good guys. That's so cool, you both deserve the best! ;-)

I'm going to jot down the name of that wine and see if we can't pick it up somewhere around here. A lot of our friends (from church, ironically enough - hey, even Jesus turned water into wine) are into wine making and tasting so, we usually have a fair supply of wine to try. We're even having a wine tasting party on the 22nd this month that should be a great time.

Thanks again for your note, I really appreciate you taking the time and the encouragement you give!Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04034531091253691652noreply@blogger.com
